Website Privacy Notice
This notice covers the optmlgolf.com website only — the page you are reading and the founder-member waitlist form on it. It is written to be accurate about what this website does today, and nothing more.
The OPTML Golf mobile app is not yet publicly available. A separate, complete privacy policy covering the app — the data it collects, the providers that process it, and your rights over it — is published here before the app is released, and replaces this notice at this address.
What we collect
If you submit the waitlist form, we store three things:
- The email address you type in.
- A source label recording which form on the page you used (for example, the one in the header versus the one at the bottom), so we know which part of the page brought people in.
- The referring web address your browser reports, if you arrived from a link somewhere else. It is blank for direct visits.
That is the entire list. If you do not submit the form, we collect nothing about your visit.
What we do not do
- No cookies. This site sets none.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting. There is no analytics tag on this page of any kind.
- No advertising, and no advertising networks.
- We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
One third-party request
The page loads its typefaces (Inter and Montserrat) from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches those font files directly from Google, and as part of any such request Google receives your IP address and browser user-agent. That is handled under Google's own privacy policy, not this one. Everything else on the page is served from our own domain.
How we use your email address
Only to contact you about OPTML Golf: to tell you when your founder-member invite is ready, and occasionally to share progress in the run-up to launch. Every message we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and asking to be removed removes you from the list entirely.
We do not use it for anything else.
Where it is stored
Waitlist entries are stored in our backend provider, Supabase, under access rules that let the website add an address but never read the list back. Depending on where you live, this may mean your information is stored and processed in a country other than your own.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist has served its purpose and is retired — whichever comes first.
Your choices
Email privacy@optmlgolf.com at any time to:
- have your address removed from the waitlist,
- ask what we hold about you, or
- ask us to correct it.
We will action removal requests promptly and confirm when it is done.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and the waitlist is not intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their address, email privacy@optmlgolf.com and we will delete it.
Changes
If what this website does changes, we update this notice and the "Last updated" date above.
