Website Privacy Notice
This notice covers the optmlgolf.com website — its pages, and the three short forms on them: the founder-member waitlist on the home page, the walkthrough request on the coach page, and the beta request on invite pages. It is written to be accurate about what this website does today, and nothing more.
The OPTML Golf app and the coach portal (optmlgolf.com/coach) are covered by a separate, complete privacy policy — the data they collect, the providers that process it, and your rights over it. That policy is published here before the app's public release, and replaces this notice at this address.
What we collect
If you submit one of the forms, we store:
- The email address you type in.
- A source label recording which form you used (the home page, the coach page, or an invite page).
- The referring web address your browser reports, if you arrived from a link somewhere else. It is blank for direct visits.
- Campaign tags from the link you followed, if it carried any — for example
?utm_source=instagram— so we know which post or message brought you here. - The page address you landed on. On an invite page this includes the invite code, so we know which group or coach invited you.
If you do not submit a form, we store nothing about your visit.
What stays in your browser
When you arrive on a tagged link, the page keeps those campaign tags in your browser's session storage for the rest of the visit, so a form you submit later still carries them. They stay on your device, they are cleared when you close the tab, and they are only sent to us if you submit a form.
What we do not do
- No cookies. This website sets none.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting. There is no analytics tag on these pages of any kind.
- No advertising, and no advertising networks.
- We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Who handles it for us
- Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it keeps standard server logs of requests (including IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service.
- Supabase stores form entries, under access rules that let the website add an entry but never read the list back.
- Resend delivers the emails we send you.
- Google Fonts may supply this site's typefaces. On devices that don't already have them, your browser fetches the font files directly from Google, which receives your IP address and browser type under Google's own privacy policy. Everything else on these pages — including images and video — is served from our own domain.
Depending on where you live, these providers may store and process your information in a country other than your own.
How we use your email address
Only to contact you about OPTML Golf: to confirm we have your request, to tell you when your invite or walkthrough is ready, and occasionally to share news in the run-up to launch. Every message we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and asking to be removed removes you from the list entirely.
We do not use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until the list has served its purpose and is retired — whichever comes first.
Your choices
Email privacy@optmlgolf.com at any time to:
- have your address removed,
- ask what we hold about you, or
- ask us to correct it.
We will action removal requests promptly and confirm when it is done.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and its forms are not intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their address, email privacy@optmlgolf.com and we will delete it.
Changes
If what this website does changes, we update this notice and the "Last updated" date above.
