OPTML Coach · free while in beta

Your players' whole game. Today's practice for each of them.

OPTML Coach is the web portal beside the player app. Every round, practice score and trend your players log lands in one workspace, and the practice you send back runs in their day, scored against a number set for their ability. You own the swing. OPTML runs the practice around it.

Works in any desktop browser, and on the phone in your pocket on the lesson tee.

How it works

Three steps, and the loop runs itself.

01

Share your join link

A link or a QR — on a message, a lesson-tee board, a card. A player who opens it sees who you are and joins your roster in one tap. Nothing for you to type or approve.

02

See the whole game

Rounds, strokes gained by area, the handicap trend, practice minutes and what's been logged — read-only, in one workspace per player. The week's read arrives every Monday.

03

Send practice back

A drill, a session, or a multi-week program to a whole cohort. They run it scored against their own bar; you see completed, missed, and the numbers.

What's inside

Built to be lived in, not visited.

Today home

Opens on who needs you — a clip waiting for review, a prescription overdue, a player gone quiet, a score that swung — ranked, with the next step on the row.

Player workspace

One handicap, the same one they see. Strokes gained by area, measured or estimated and labelled which. Every stat against their own baseline, in words, never a bare number.

Coach Studio

Your own drills — a cue with a clip, or a scored task with a bar for each level — and named, multi-week programs you build once and assign to a cohort.

Coach Space

A two-way space per player: notes, clips and cheers in both directions. When a player sends you a clip, it's in your bell and your inbox — you don't have to go looking.

Video reviews

Slow it down, scrub it, draw on it by hand — lines, angles, circles, labels — and send your read back with a recorded walkthrough. Your eye, your notes. Nothing automated.

Broadcast & bulk

One message to the whole roster or a subset. Select a cohort and assign a drill, a program, or a nudge in one move — each player clears their own bar.

Where OPTML stops

Your swing, your call.

OPTML never diagnoses technique and never reads a video. It stores clips and delivers them; what's in them is yours to say. The number a player has to clear is OPTML's — set for their ability, the same scale for a 24 and a scratch player. The choice of what to work on is yours whenever you make one, and the portal tells the player it came from you.

Technical practice builds the game. Performance practice makes it show up. You own the first; OPTML runs the second.

What it costs

Free while OPTML Coach is in beta.

Every feature, your whole roster, nothing to enter. Coach plans by roster size are coming — you'll hear from us well before anything changes, and nothing is charged without your say-so.

Prefer a walkthrough first?

Leave your email and we'll set up a call and a demo roster.

FAQ

The questions coaches ask first.

Do my players need the app?

Yes — OPTML runs on iPhone, and everything you see comes from what they log there. Founder invites are going out now; bring your roster in with you and they join from your link.

Does OPTML analyze swings?

No. There is no technique diagnosis, no pose detection and nothing that tells anyone what their takeaway looks like. Clips are stored and delivered; the review is yours, drawn by hand.

Can I use my own drills?

Yes. Coach Studio holds your library — teaching drills with a cue and a clip, or scored drills with a bar per level — and the programs you build from them. Assign to one player or a cohort.

What can I see, exactly?

What the player logs: rounds and scores, stats and strokes gained, handicap trend, practice minutes, drill results, and what they share into your Coach Space. Never their email, date of birth or Handicap ID. A player can remove you at any time, and access ends immediately.
